Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
At Westlake Medical Center, our ICU provides 24/7 expert care for patients in critical condition. With advanced equipment and a skilled medical team, we ensure constant monitoring, fast response, and compassionate support during the most crucial moments.
Procedure:
- Telemetry rooms for monitoring patient 24-48 hours
- 1 room for patient in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- 3 rooms with renal replacement therapy ( w/ Reverse Osmosis connected to the water system of the Hemodialysis Unit.)
- Infection Control and 2 Isolation rooms w/ ante rooms
- Post operative care for critical patient
- Neurologic care and Management
- Use of Sequential Compressive Device ( SCD machine ) – Prevention of Pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis and venous stasis and leg swelling
- Use of Alternating pressure system mattress (all ICU beds) – For prevention of Bedsore
- Use of vein viewer device for IV insertion
- Hemodynamic Monitoring ( Use of Cardiac Monitor per patient)
- Wall mounted Oxygen Therapy and Suction System
- Use Infusion pump
